West Virginia University is coming off a successful Gold Blue Game that saw the defense come away with a 43-34 victory. Not only was it a victory for both sides of the ball, it was a victory in securing a verbal commit from offensive lineman Marcell Lazard.
The big offensive lineman stands at 6-foot-6, and 293 pounds. Lazard is coming off a visit at Ohio State that impressed, and almost secured a commitment, but he wanted to talk with his parents before making a final decision.
The talented linemen is rated a 3 star by both Scout and Rivals.
Lazard had offers from Ohio State, Florida, Miami(FL), South Carolina, and Michigan just to name a few.
He makes the first verbal commit of the 2013 class.
