Immokalee High School (FL) Jacky Marcellus had been looking around at various schools trying to find the right fit.
That fit came today when the 3-star all-purpose back made the call to the Gold and Blue.
Marcellus, 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds is a water bug. He is the type of kid that can make you miss, then it's off to the races. Scouts talk about his soft hands and quick feet.
He has the ability to play running back, wide receiver, and cornerback.
Playing both running back and wide receiver, Marcellus looks to keep rolling after a solid junior season.
Marcellus had 691 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns to go with 747 yards receiving and 22 touchdowns last season.
His focus will now turn to his senior season.
"My workouts are going great this summer and I'll be ready for this season 110%," said Marcellus. "I'm working to improve my speed, route running and conditioning. I'll be the player to watch for this year."
He reported offers from UCONN, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Vandy to name a few.
Jacky makes the 12th commitment of the 2013 recruiting class.
