badgerOsbourn Park athlete Damian Nicholson has been busy this summer attending camps across the region, that tour led him back to Morgantown yesterday where he camped with talent from all over the nation.

We had a chance to speak with Damian about camp and what's next for him.

Nicholson, nicknamed the "Honey Badger" has long favored the Mountaineers.

With his high interest in WVU, that hasn't stopped him from camping and getting his name out more.

"I have offers from Charlotte, East Carolina, Liberty and West Virginia," he said. "West Virginia has offered me as a cornerback, but I really want to play offense in college. I could see myself playing corner though."

Nicholson has received interest from programs like Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Tennessee.

"They are all just telling me that I'm a a good fit in their offenses," he said. "A lot of them wanted me to come to camps this year. I was planning on going to a lot of camps, but since I got offered, I'm really chilling instead and working for my senior year."

Yesterday brought another opportunity for Nicholson to showcase his talent. By all accounts he had a very nice day.

"Camp was very fun and I got to see how the coaches coached." Nicholson said. "I had the chance to talk to Chavas Rawlins and we had an instant bond. I spent alot of time with Coach Roberts too."

So what's next for Damian?

"I'm just ready to relax and focus on my senior year and do big things." Nicholson said

He added that he will visit Liberty, UNC Charlotte, and East Carolina as time goes on, but right now the focus is his senior season at Osbourn Park.

EERinsider.com will have more camp updates over the next several days.
