One of West Virginia's prized recruits in the 2012 recruiting class will not be arriving in Morgantown in time for the upcoming season.
Hyattsville (MD) linebacker,Sam Lebbie, will attend prep school in Atlanta with hopes of getting his academics in order, and arriving in Morgantown in January.
Lebbie, 6-foot-2 235 pound athletic linebacker, was considered by many as the top recruit in last years recruiting class.
Scout.com ranked him a 4-star prospect and the 6th best middle linebacker in the nation.
Lebbie, however, isn't the only member of the 2012 class not yet enrolled. Running back Roshard Burney (FL) and wide receiver Deontay McManus (MD) also have not arrived yet. Sources have told me both those players have met WVU's acceptance standards, but are awaiting NCAA Clearinghouse approval.
