West Virginia University has been living in the State of Florida. Always a popular destination for coaches, WVU offered safety/linebacker Tyrell Lyons from First Coast High School in Jacksonville. Lyons stands 6 foot 2 and 240 pounds. He is rated three stars by Rivals.com.
Lyons is currently a verbal commit to Florida State.
He also has offers from Miami(FL), UNC, Ohio State, and South Carolina to name a few.
Lyons has said he will cut his list of finalist by the end of summer once he takes all of his visits.
WVU was also at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg to offer receiver Rodney Adams. Standing 6 foot 1 and weighing 175 pounds, Adams has gained some impressive offers.
Being a current Florida verbal commit, Adams has gained offers from Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida State, Miami, and Vanderbilt to name a few. Adams is rated a four star by Rivals.com.
This may be a hard get for the Mountaineers. Adams is currently trying to convince his friends to follow him to Gainesville.
