William Penn Charter School (Pa.) wide receiver Daryl Worley announced his top three schools over the weekend with WVU leading the pack. Not only does WVU lead for his services, but they have a visit coming from the speedster next week.

EERinsider.com caught up with the talented athlete to get his thoughts on the Mountaineers.

Worley is rated a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com. Standing 6-foot and 180 lbs, he has the ability to play both wide receiver and safety. daryl_worley

"Right now I'm really focusing on my team, but I'm planning to head to West Virginia next week on Monday," he said. "West Virginia is the top school on my list. I just want to go and see the campus, see what it looks like up there."

When talking about West Virginia, he makes no secret why he favors the Mountaineers.

"They are a big-time school with the conference they are in," he said. "They face big-time competition and it's a good fit for me. I like the coaching staff. I fit in there and they want me as a safety."

With WVU leading the pack, could a commitment be on the way?

"There is a chance if I absolutely love the visit, but I don't know."

Daryl currently holds offers from Pittsburgh, Northwestern, Iowa, Tennessee, Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue,  and Penn State.

This will be one to keep an eye on.
