WVU received a late evening commit when wide receiver Daikiel Shorts made the call to the Mountaineers.
Shorts makes the second commitment of the day, and the 11th commit of the 2013 class.
Shorts, 6-foot-1 and 199 pounds visited Morgantown over the weekend with teammate Wendell Smallwood.
The Eastern Christian Academy (Md) athlete is rated a 3-star by Rivals.
He has a knack for finding holes in the defense, either by sitting down in-between a zone or using his quickness to beat his man one-on-one. He isn't afraid to go across the middle and put is body on the line.
Shorts has solid hands and tends to catch everything thrown in his direction.
He claimed offers from Boise State, Maryland, N.C. State and UCLA to name a few.
Shorts says his recruitment is over and looks to enroll in January.
